Names censored to avoid escalation[/caption]Here we go again. Another knock off of an ER item, made with textures that were themselves knockoffs of ER textures. I got the distribution of the textures to stop, at least from the source, but people keep sharing these textures back and forth "for personal use" and every month or so, another one of these things pops up.
Yet again, the knocked-off item is in a "Transformation Machine" being given out for free. Dozens, possibly hundreds, possibly thousands of sets given out.
Sales are in the toilet, and I have no clue how I'll be paying rent in RL this month, not to even mention the IRS in September. Medication refills are due, and I'm scraping by for groceries Barely managed to cover tier.
But hey, as long as you have a nice freebie hair for your transformation machine.. who cares right? Any wonder why I have such trouble staying motivated to create new things.
Edit: After a long (2 hours!) and unexpectedly pleasant conversation with the person responsible for this item's distribution, the problem was finally resolved. I have her word that the item in question will no longer be distributed, and that the textures she used will no longer be used either. Once again, best possible outcome because the parties involved chose the high road. I wish more situations like this were resolved so amicably.
