Observation: Pepsi vs Diet Shasta

While taking a quick drink of soda, I looked at the nutrition information for Pepsi. In a 12oz serving, just one can.. there's 41grams of carbohydrates, all from sugar.

Were I on a diet that mandated a 20-50g per day max carbohydrates, ONE can of Pepsi would basically be all the carbohydrates I could have. Based on the actual amount of soda I tend to drink, that's about 250grams of carbohydrates a day... and that doesn't even include bread, pasta, candy or junk food, or "hidden" carbs in veggies and whatnot.

I picked up a can of diet Shasta root beer, and noted the 0g of carbs.

I think I'm going stop buying 'regular', and stick to 'unleaded'. Bonus is, it happens to be cheaper.
